Academic Calendar and Important Dates for UoN

• First Semester: Starts in September and ends in December.
• Second Semester: Starts in January and ends in April.
• Exam Periods: December for the first semester, April/May for the second semester.
• Holidays: University closes for national holidays and has a long break from mid-December to early January.
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Vary by department, typically in March and September.
• Sabbatical Dates: Faculty members can apply for sabbaticals, typically planned a year in advance.
