Weather and Climate at UNO-R

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) is located in Bacolod City, Philippines, which experiences a tropical climate. The city has two distinct seasons:

• Dry Season (November to April) - Characterized by hot and humid weather with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C. This period is ideal for outdoor activities and commuting.
• Wet Season (May to October) - Marked by heavy rainfall and occasional typhoons. Temperatures during this period range from 23°C to 31°C. The wet season can affect commuting and outdoor research, requiring students and staff to prepare for rain.
