Weather and Climate at XUT

Xi'an University of Technology, located in Xi'an, experiences a continental monsoon climate. The city has four distinct seasons:

• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid with temperatures between 25°C and 35°C, and frequent rainfall.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and dry with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C, ideal for outdoor activities.
• Winter (December to February): Cold with temperatures dropping to -5°C to 5°C, and occasional snow.

The weather can impact commuting and campus life, particularly during the hot summer months when air conditioning is essential, and in winter when heating is necessary. Outdoor research activities are more feasible during spring and autumn.
