Weather and Climate at Xihua

Xihua University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, experiences a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Mild and humid, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C. Rainfall increases towards the end of the season.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching 30°C. This period sees the most rainfall, with frequent thunderstorms.
• Autumn (September to November): Cool and comfortable, with temperatures dropping from 25°C to 10°C. Less rainfall, making it a pleasant time for outdoor activities.
• Winter (December to February): Mild and damp, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C. Occasional frost but rarely snow.

The climate can affect commuting due to heavy rain in summer, and campus life often adapts to the weather, with indoor activities during rainy periods.
