Weather and Climate at YGU

Yamanashi Gakuin University, located in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, experiences a humid subtropical climate. The region has distinct seasons:

• Spring (March to May): Mild temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C, with cherry blossoms in full bloom.
• Summer (June to August): Hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. Rainy season occurs in June and July.
• Autumn (September to November): Cooler temperatures, ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with beautiful fall foliage.
• Winter (December to February): Cold, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 10°C. Snowfall is possible but not common.
