Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Education, Psychology or Social Work;
- minimum of one-year counseling or related experience; and
- experience in special problems of disabled, first-generation, and low-income students.
Job Duties
- promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students;
- participate on University committees;
- assist the director with identification and placement of eligible participants in the project;
- assist director in coordinating, supervising, planning, implementing, and evaluating project services and activities;
- maintain active participant files;
- counsel and advise participants academically, personally, financial, and socially;
- administer and interpret inventories;
- submit monthly reports to director;
- teach Strategies for College Success classes; and
- completion of required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; and
- perform other duties as assigned.
