Job Summary
Performs professional duties in one or more student services program areas at an institution of higher education.
Job Duties
- 10% Student Services
Provide assistance and back up to the lead advisor for the Bridge program
Participate in Living and Learning Community events and activities - 30% Special Programs
Serve as lead for colleges transfer orientation program
Develop and maintain a continuity book for this program
Provide assistance and back up the lead advisor for the colleges freshman orientation program
Perform lead registration coordinator duties for the BUS 1010 rubric and provide continuity book - 50% Academic Advisor
Advise and mentor to pre business undergraduate students or students looking to change their major into a business major
Provides support to students seeking additional academic information college engagement opportunities various university support services and success strategies
Additionally support other college advising centers and departmental faculty academic advisors
Maintain appropriate student information records and files on services provided - 10% Recruiting and Retention
Participate in family visits retention programs and recruiting events

Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
Responsibilities
Job Knowledge
Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
Budgetary Responsibilities
No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Compensation Information
Expected Salary Range
42000 - 45000
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Essential Personnel Level
Essential Support - In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is necessary to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
