In this recruitment, we invite applications for a few Assistant Professor positions from motivated individuals eager to advance the research objectives set forth in ERI's "Mission Statement"*1 by further developing "Science Plan 2022"*2, and to pioneer new research areas across disciplinary boundaries . We welcome applications from a wide range of fields, not limited to solid Earth sciences. Additionally, the successful candidates are expected to contribute to the education and mentorship of the next generation of researchers through active engagement in research.

Compensation
- Annual salary: 5 million yen
- Wages description: Determined based on academic background, work experience, etc., with a salary increase system. Reference: Monthly salary of approximately 380,000 yen for those with a doctoral degree

Supplementary explanation of compensation
Various Allowances: Bonuses (twice a year), commuting allowance (up to 55,000 yen per month in principle), and other allowances according to university regulations. Days off and Leave: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3), annual paid leave, special leave, etc.
