| 1.00 | Before we had this teacher, our classes were already crazy, when she arrived, she made them absolutely insane with no regards for our already-busy schedule. She forced an extra 2 hours onto a lab that wasnt even a practical, it was a presentation-based one. Plus we were not able to prepare adequately for the topic that we didnt know as we were given the questions and topics in class. When politely asked if we could shorten the lab due to 3 assignments due the next day, a mock the next day, and a reexam the next day she heartlessly said "thats the life of a student". Well, it wasn't the life of a student before you arrived. She also loves to grill you on topics you don't know and get mad or laugh when you don't know it. She seems sweet, but she is genuinly not a good teacher and has zero empathy for our already psychotic schedules where we have literally no time for a life, hobbies, etc unless its at 2AM or something. | Walailak University | Sep 2, 2026 |

| 1.00 | If you have a shred of confidence and integrity, take it and run. This woman has no regard for human life, no trace of empathy and made me contemplate quitting university and moving home. Single handedly the rudest, most vile professor I have ever had. Some teachers take pleasure in teaching and being good educators, I have a strong feeling Yang Han thoroughly enjoys subjecting students to her pathetic and cruel behavior. On many an occasion she has prompted me by saying “I didn’t have the capacity to be in her studio” and that my opinions were “worthless” and that she wouldn’t listen to me “because nothing I say matters”. Verbatim. Keep in mind she had met me only two weeks ago - for two sessions. And no, I’m not stupid or dense - I went on to be a delight and a top scorer in the rest of my academic life as an honors student. A really deeply unhappy individual who no doubt is racist too. If you’re a person of color, value your time and your energy and don’t listen to her apathetic dialogue. She’s lucky I didn’t go to the department and make a bigger issue out of this. | 1.00 | Extremely disappointing teaching experience. This was by far one of the most frustrating courses I’ve taken. The lectures often felt like the professor was simply talking at students rather than actually teaching or engaging with them. Questions were frequently left unanswered, and when responses were given, they were often unnecessarily convoluted and difficult to understand. Communication was another major issue. Getting clear answers or clarification was extremely difficult, which made already confusing course material even harder to navigate. Assignments were often presented with messy, poorly organised questions and unclear expectations, leaving students to spend more time trying to decipher what was actually being asked than focusing on the material itself. Overall, I found the teaching approach ineffective, the organisation poor, and the communication frustrating. A professor should make difficult material more understandable and create an environment where students can ask questions and receive useful guidance. Unfortunately, I did not feel that happened here. This was easily one of the least useful teaching experiences I’ve had at university. | Australian National University | Sep 1, 2026 |
