Dr. Abdalla Z. Mohamed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cognitive Sciences at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. He is a neuroscientist specializing in cognitive and clinical neuroimaging. Dr. Mohamed holds a Doctorate from the University of Queensland, Australia. His research focuses on neuroimaging applications to conditions including traumatic brain injury, posttraumatic stress disorder, and related mental health and neurological issues. He leads the Brain Imaging & Mental Health Lab at UAEU and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics such as brain structural and functional changes following injury and disease.
