Dr. Abinaya S is an Assistant Professor at the SRM College of Occupational Therapy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tiruchirappalli Campus, serving in this role since October 2023. She earned her Master's in Occupational Therapy (MOT) with a specialization in Mental Health, achieving University First Rank and Gold Medallist honors. Additional workshops include Research Methodology & Funding Proposals (2024), Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing Enhancement (2023), and Essentials of Occupational Therapy in Leprosy by Schieffelin Institute. She attended national conferences on Autism (2012), Traumatic Brain Injury (2013), Oncology Rehabilitation (2014), and AIOTA conferences (2013, 2014), along with COTEs on vocational rehabilitation, pain management, and OT practice in Saudi Arabia. Notably, she organized a National level workshop on Sensory Integration (July 31–August 1, 2025) and a National Conference on current trends in healthcare research themed 'Transformative approaches in Health Care Research' (March 27, 2025), both at the College of Occupational Therapy, SRMIST Trichy.
