Dr. Ahmad Mustafa Rahimi, MD, MSc, serves as Associate Professor of Physiology in the Department of Physiology, School of Medicine at Alberoni University in Kohistan, Kapisa Province, Afghanistan. He has been an academic member and lecturer at the university's Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2011. Rahimi graduated with his MD from Balkh Medical Faculty at Balkh University in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, in 2010. He completed specialization training in the internal diseases department at Jamhoriat Hospital in 2015, a diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy course at Shariati Hospital in 2019, and earned his MSc in medical physiology from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2020.
His research specializations encompass physiology, nutritional interventions, gastroenterology, and medical education in conflict zones.
