Rate My Professor Aijun Xu

Aijun Xu is a Professor of Computer Science and Technology and Vice President at Zhejiang A&F University, affiliated with the College of Mathematics and Computer Science. Holding a PhD, he serves as a doctoral supervisor, head of the national first-class undergraduate major in Computer Science and Technology, and director of the Key Laboratory of Forestry Perception Technology and Intelligent Equipment under the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. Xu's academic career at the university spans over two decades, starting as a Teaching Assistant in the College of Information Engineering in July 2002. He progressed to Lecturer in September 2004, Associate Professor in November 2008, and Professor in May 2011. Xu has earned major awards such as the Third Prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award (2018) for smart animal husbandry key technologies, Second Prize of the Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award (2018), Second Prize of the Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology Award (2016) for forest fire early warning, Third Prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Award (2014), and Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of Education (2010).
