Rate My Professor Aishath Shabana

Ms. Aishath Shabana is a graduate of Maldives National University, who holds a Master’s Degree in Social Policy. Prior to this, she had completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Librarianship and Corporate Information Management from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia. She has sound knowledge in the fields of Corporate Information Management, Information Literacy and Policy making. She started her career in the education sector in 1994 and continued to serve the nation in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS) till today. Up until 2017, she was the University Librarian and also continued to pursue a teaching career at the Faculty of Arts, MNU. Apart from teaching, she was also actively involved in the development of advanced certificate, diploma and degree level courses in the field of LIS and contributed towards the development of the curriculums for these courses. Equipped with over 20 years of experience and expertise, she joined Mandhu College in 2018 and continues to make a difference in the higher education sector. She is currently the Registrar of Mandhu College and also lecturers at Mandhu College.
