Rate My Professor Akiko Shoji

Professor Akiko Shoji is a professor in the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Nagoya University, with affiliations in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and the School of Science Department of Earth and Planetary Science. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology from Oxford University in the United Kingdom in 2015. Prior to her appointment at Nagoya University in April 2024, she served as an associate professor in the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Tsukuba from April 2019 to March 2024.

Her work involves extensive research activity including numerous papers on topics related to seabirds, foraging behavior, physiological responses, and environmental contaminants.
