Allen Frazier, Ph.D., is the Dean and Professor in the Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration at Harding University, where he has served in progressive leadership roles since joining the faculty in 2001 as an assistant professor. He became Chair of the Management Department in 2006, Associate Dean in 2010, and was appointed Dean effective July 15, 2015. Prior to his academic career, Frazier accumulated 18 years of experience in banking and financial services, holding positions such as Vice President, Senior Loan Manager, Senior Lender, Marketing Director, and Sales Manager, with his final role as Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at The American National Bank of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Additionally, he served as a vocational minister for 11 years in Wisconsin.
Frazier holds a B.B.A. from Harding University (1983), an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a Ph.D. from Capella University (2006). He teaches Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurial Management, Human Resources Management, and Commercial Banking, and directs the College of Business Leadership Seminar. He has been the faculty sponsor for the Harding University chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) for 15 years, joined the SAM Board of Directors in 2015, served as SAM President in 2018, and continues as Past-President. Frazier also served as faculty sponsor for the Reynolds Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition. His teaching excellence is recognized through the COBA Outstanding Faculty of the Year award (2005), Harding University Teacher Achievement Award (2009), and Sam Walls Entrepreneurial Educator Award (2014).
