Dr Alveera Hynes is a General Practitioner based in Dunedin, New Zealand, affiliated with the University of Otago. She joined the University of Otago Student Health Services as a doctor in 2012, where she provides primary healthcare to students. Her professional qualifications include MBChB, FRNZCGP, and PGDipTravMed. Additionally, Dr Hynes works as a Medical Assessor at the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM), part of the New Zealand Pharmacovigilance Centre (NZPhvC) within the Health Sciences Division of the University of Otago. In this role, she assesses reports of adverse reactions to medicines and vaccines.
