Dr. Shaik Amjad is a Professor and Head of the Department of Automobile Engineering at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad, India. He possesses 23 years of teaching experience and 18 years of research experience in the field of engineering. His academic background includes a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Osmania University in 1997, an M.E. in Automobile Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University in 2000, and a Ph.D. in Automobile Engineering from Anna University in 2013. Dr. Shaik Amjad's research specializations encompass electric and hybrid vehicles, alternative fuels, automotive engines, automobile engineering, and automotive pollution. He has made significant contributions to infrastructure development by establishing the Vehicle Maintenance and Testing Laboratory at VNRVJIET and the Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Laboratory at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
