Rate My Professor Amrutkuvar Rayjade

Dr. Amrutkuvar Rayjade serves as Principal and Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Manual Therapy at D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Kolhapur, having joined on April 17, 2023. She brings over 23 years of academic experience to this role, following her tenure at Krishna College of Physiotherapy, Karad, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, where she was Assistant Professor from October 1, 2014, to August 31, 2018 (nearly seven years), and Associate Professor from September 1, 2018, to April 16, 2023 (over four years). Dr. Rayjade's academic journey began with a B.P.Th from Krishna College of Physiotherapy, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, completed in 2008. She achieved distinction in her fourth year (75.87%, standing first in MUHS University), first class in her third year (62.88%), and first class in her second year (65.23%, standing third in the university). She earned her M.P.Th with first class (61.42%) from KLE Institute of Physiotherapy, Belgaum, in 2010. In January 2025, she received her Ph.D. from Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad, for the thesis "Development of Structured Antenatal Physiotherapy Module and Its Effectiveness in Primigravida Women – A Randomized Control Trial."

Dr. Rayjade's research interests lie in physiotherapy. She has authored over 80 publications in UGC Care journals, holds more than 20 copyrights, and has two ongoing patents for designs. Her contributions to the field are recognized through several honors, including the conferral of her Ph.D. degree at the 13th convocation of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Karad, on June 3, 2025. In 2024, she received multiple Certificates of Appreciation, such as for her role as resource person and chairperson at the 1st DCP-CON 2024 State Level Conference on October 16, 2024; for judging at the same conference; from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Sangli, for a lecture on low back pain on March 9, 2024; and from Ichalkaranji Physiotherapy Association for attending a CME on September 29, 2024.
