Amy Whyman serves as the Welfare and Equity Representative for the Otago University Students' Association (OUSA) at the University of Otago. She is in her fifth year of study pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in music and economics. Drawing from her prior experience as a sub-warden, where she supported student wellbeing, Whyman focuses on ensuring that the university's student support systems prioritize students' wellbeing at their core. She aims to build upon previous efforts by creating a robust platform for student representation groups to amplify their voices throughout the university.
