About Andreawan

Dr. Andreawan Honora is a Lecturer in Marketing at the UWA Business School, University of Western Australia, a position he assumed in February 2024. Before joining UWA, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada. Prior to his academic career, Honora worked as an Account Manager at MII - Metrodata Group, one of Indonesia's largest IT solution companies. His academic credentials include a PhD in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from National Dong Hwa University, completed in January 2022 and fully funded through the PhD studentship scheme. He also holds a Master of Management in Marketing, awarded in July 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Management (Marketing) from February 2016.

Honora's research focuses on digital technology, service management, consumer-brand relationships, and consumer psychology. He examines the influence of digital technologies on consumer and frontline employee behaviors, strategies for businesses to apply these technologies in marketing to achieve better customer outcomes, and their implications for social goals such as health and well-being. His publications feature in leading journals, including Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Consumer Studies, Internet Research, and International Journal of Information Management.
