Dr. Anna Wilkinson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She holds an MD from the University of Ottawa (2001), an MSc in Biology and a BSc from Queen’s University at Kingston. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa and is certified as CCFP and FCFP by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Dr. Wilkinson serves as Program Director for the PGY-3 Family Practice Oncology program and as Regional Cancer Primary Care Lead. She is a family physician with a special interest in oncology who divides her clinical time between caring for medical oncology inpatients and academic family practice. Her work focuses on bridging oncology and family medicine through knowledge translation and research on the impacts of cancer screening to optimize outcomes.
Dr. Wilkinson’s academic contributions include publications on topics such as breast cancer screening and survivorship care. She maintains an active role in clinical research within the Faculty of Medicine.
