Rate My Professor Annette Hunter

Hunter has been involved in high-impact IT initiatives. As a member of the SONIA project team, she contributed to the implementation of the university's recruitment and onboarding system, leading to the University of Otago receiving the SONIA User Excellence Award in 2020 for outstanding utilisation. Furthermore, in her capacity with the IT Infrastructure Network Services team, she participated in the deployment of a cutting-edge network in the Science III building. This effort was recognised with the 2024 BICSI South Pacific Excellence in ITC Infrastructure Installation Award (Medium Project category). Wallace Chase, Head of IT Infrastructure at the University of Otago, specifically commended Annette Hunter and the team, alongside partners Aotea Electric Southern, Nokia, and Lexel Systems, for their exceptional achievement.
