Aria Gbur serves as the Academic Advisor for Master's programs in the IU School of Social Work at Indiana University Indianapolis, formerly known as Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. In this capacity, she supports graduate students navigating their academic paths in social work, offering guidance on program requirements and related matters. Her office is situated in room ES 4101 within the Education/Social Work building, and she is available by phone at 317-274-2232.
Additionally, Aria Gbur holds the position of Human Resources Coordinator at the IU School of Social Work. She acts as the primary department contact for inquiries regarding faculty positions, including recent postings for Assistant Professor of Social Work and BSW Program Director at various campuses. Aria Gbur is an active participant in the IU Indianapolis Staff Council, attending meetings to discuss staff issues, university rebranding efforts from IUPUI to IU Indianapolis, hiring initiatives such as for a new Dean of the School of Social Work, and contributions to the Indiana University Bias Reporting System.
