Ariffin Bin Mohamad is a Lecturer in the Department of General Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences at Curtin University Malaysia. The department delivers compulsory MPU (Mata Pelajaran Umum) units mandated by the Private Higher Education Institution Act 1996 (Act 555). These units support students' personal and academic growth by helping them understand Malaysian society, practice responsible citizenship, and develop essential humanity skills within Curtin's diverse multicultural community. Students in foundation, master's, and PhD programs are exempted from these units.
Ariffin Bin Mohamad has been listed as a lecturer in the department, which was previously known as the Department of Culture and Language Studies as of 2017.
