Professor Armand MOYIKOUA is a full professor of orthopedics-traumatology at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Université Marien Ngouabi in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. As professeur titulaire recognized by CAMES, he specializes in orthopedic surgery and traumatology, with extensive involvement in medical education. He has served as president general of the jury for multiple medical thesis defenses, including the 34th campaign in December 2017, where he led deliberations and administered the Hippocratic Oath to 39 new doctors following defenses from December 4 to 6.
Professor MOYIKOUA held the position of Rector of Université Marien Ngouabi from approximately 2010 to 2015, directing university administration, education and research policies, and the implementation of Steering Committee decisions. During his tenure, he advanced institutional modernization, including the official launch of the university website in 2013, establishment of an ICT training center, and signing of international agreements such as with Université Fédérale de Bahia in Brazil and Jinan University in China for the Confucius Institute. He oversaw faculty promotions through CAMES sessions and infrastructure developments. Upon retirement in 2015, he became Honorary Rector (Recteur Honoraire). In February 2023, he was appointed President of the Direction Committee of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Brazzaville (CHUB), underscoring his ongoing leadership in healthcare.
