About Babin
Dr. Babin Dhas D serves as an Assistant Professor in Human Resources at the MEASI Institute of Management, Chennai, a position he has held since 2024. His extensive career in management education spans over 16 years, beginning as Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in MBA at Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology from 2009 to 2015. He then advanced to Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in MBA at Loyola Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2023, followed by Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in Business Administration at Loyola College, Chennai, from 2023 to 2024. Academically, Dr. Dhas holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources Management from Anna University awarded in 2022, an M.B.A. from the same university in 2008, and a B.B.A. from M.S. University in 2006. Complementing his management qualifications, he earned an M.A. in Economics from Annamalai University in 2019 and a B.A. in Economics from Annamalai University in 2017.
In his professional practice, Dr. Babin Dhas D specializes in corporate human resources functions, including performance management, change management, compensation and benefits, process improvements, and HR transformation strategies. His research focuses on the work-life interface—encompassing balance, conflict, and enrichment—leadership, positive organizational psychology, and positive psychology. With 26 publications to his credit, including 17 journal articles, 2 conference proceedings, 3 reviews, and others, he contributes significantly to the field; one notable work is 'Work Life Balance among Medium Size Industrialized Employees' co-authored with S.C. Vetrivel in Test Engineering and Management (2020). Key recognitions include the Excellence in Education Award 2025 from the Masters Professional Academy in Coimbatore and the Innovative Teacher Award 2018 from the International School Awards in Dubai, UAE. Additionally, he has served as a question paper setter for Pondicherry University in 2024 and S.
