About Bahjat
Bahjat Khader serves as Coordinator of the Online Department and Lecturer at Bethlehem Bible College. He is the Head of the Online Diploma in Biblical Studies Program. Khader joined the college in February 2017 as a teaching assistant for the online diploma program and later assumed leadership of the program, which was established in 2016 and serves hundreds of Arab students worldwide, including those in the diaspora and refugees. A native of Zababdeh in northern Palestine, Khader is married with four children. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Al-Najah University in Nablus and a Master of Divinity degree from the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to his role at Bethlehem Bible College, he taught Christian education in schools for eight years. In his current position, Khader oversees an Arabic-language curriculum focused on biblical studies that is open to Christian and Muslim students interested in the subject. The program emphasizes academic and spiritual formation, with many graduates applying their learning in church teaching roles. Khader has highlighted the family-like atmosphere at the college, including weekly devotions that stress prayer and sharing the love of Christ. A new bachelor of arts program incorporating courses on preaching, counseling, and biblical geography was in development during his early years at the institution. His work supports students facing financial challenges through scholarship opportunities.
