Benjamin Leon Musher, M.D., serves as Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. He holds the Barry Stephen Smith Memorial Endowed Professorship and serves as Medical Director of Medical Oncology at the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center. His academic background includes an A.B. from Harvard University awarded in 1995, an M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine completed in 2003, and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine completed in 2008. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology.

Dr. Musher maintains professional interests in gastrointestinal cancers. He has received multiple honors including the Rising Star Award from Baylor College of Medicine in 2014, the Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Faculty Excellence Award in 2014, and the Oncology Faculty Educator of the Year award for consecutive years from 2010 through 2015. Additional recognitions include the Press Ganey Top Performer award in 2015, Top Doctor designation from Houstonia Magazine in 2015, and the Champion of the Quarter award from Harris Health System in 2015. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
