Brier Bousie is a Project Manager in the Campus Development Division at the University of Otago. Brier joined the Campus Development Team in 2022, bringing valuable experience from a previous role at a local project management and advisory services provider. There, Brier contributed to the New Dunedin Hospital project, developing skills in construction project coordination and management. Brier holds a New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying), which supports her expertise in quantity surveying and construction management. This qualification was obtained from Otago Polytechnic between 2020 and 2021.
In her current position, Brier is leading the Arana College seismic and fire compliance project, a key initiative to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of university residential facilities. The Campus Development Division, where Brier works, is responsible for strategic capital works programmes, including developments like the Te Rangihīroa Project, colleges compliance upgrades, and health sciences master plans.
