Bushra Baboo Rally has made contributions to the field of higher education through her publication titled "Challenging Elitism in Higher Education and Graduate Employability: A Thinking Piece," published in the Journal of Graduate Education Research, Volume 5, Issue 1, 2024. This work critically examines the prevalence of elitism in higher education and the complex challenges it poses for graduate employability. Employing positional conflict theory, the paper explores relative graduate employability issues arising from various factors and highlights that elitism's specific role in employment challenges for graduates has not been isolated in prior literature or current conceptualizations of employability. Baboo Rally advocates for dismantling elitist structures within higher education institutions and provides recommendations to foster more dynamic and inclusive educational ecosystems.
