Leininger holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Services from Concordia University, St. Paul, earned between 2020 and 2022. Her undergraduate degree is in accounting with a minor in business management from the same university, completed around 2020. As a student, she was recognized academically as a Dean's List honoree and selected to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in both 2018 and 2019. Athletically, she was a standout defender on the women's lacrosse team from 2017 to 2020, starting 50 of 55 games—third most in program history—and serving as team captain in her junior year.
