Rate My Professor Christine Ennew

Professor Christine Ennew served as Provost of the University of Warwick from August 2016 to August 2023. She is affiliated with Warwick Business School in the Marketing Group and holds the title of Professor of Marketing. Her academic background includes a BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in agricultural economics from the University of Nottingham. Prior to her role at Warwick, she held positions at the University of Nottingham, including promotion to Professor of Marketing in 1995, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Provost and CEO of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus from 2013 to 2016. She has also undertaken visiting academic appointments at institutions including Lehigh University and the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta.

Professor Ennew’s research focuses on services marketing and financial services. She has contributed to the field through numerous publications and has been recognised with the award of an OBE. Her leadership roles have involved supporting academic strategy and international higher education development.
