Claire Ashford serves as the Business Support Co-ordinator for the Healthier Lives He Oranga Hauora National Science Challenge research group. This group is hosted by the Department of Medicine within the University of Otago's Dunedin School of Medicine.
The Healthier Lives programme is a collaborative national research initiative dedicated to enhancing the prevention and treatment of major chronic diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity, while promoting equitable health outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand. In her role, Claire Ashford provides essential administrative and support services to facilitate the group's operations and contributions to public health research.
