Craig Maloney serves as Adjunct Associate Lecturer in Surveying within the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Curtin University, part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Surveying from Curtin University, graduating in 2006. With over 20 years of experience in the surveying industry, Maloney is a Practicing Licensed Surveyor, accredited by the Land Surveyors Licensing Board of Western Australia since 2014. He holds full membership in the Western Australian Institute of Surveyors (WAIS) and serves on its Board.
In 2015, Maloney founded CK Maloney Surveying Pty Ltd, where he acts as Managing Director. The firm specializes in civil and construction surveying, land subdivisions, strata developments, aerial and laser scanning, 3D modelling, and project management. Projects undertaken include high-rise developments, shopping centres, educational facilities, industrial and residential complexes. Maloney contributes to education by instructing fourth-year surveying students at Curtin University, including leading practical field activities such as student camps to provide real-world training in surveying techniques.
