Mr. D. L. Bhombe serves as Associate Professor and Dean of Academics at Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon, within the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. He possesses an M.S. qualification specializing in Biomedical Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligent Systems. His academic and research interests encompass Fuzzy Logic, Artificial Neural Networks, biomedical signal processing, and artificial intelligence applications.
Bhombe has authored and co-authored numerous research papers in areas such as genetic algorithms, image processing, signal processing, and recognition systems. Notable publications include 'Automated e-billing and Power Control System through Power Line Communication' co-authored with Dr. D. D. Nawgaje; 'A Genetic Algorithm Applications for Multi-Objective Advanced Planning and Scheduling Problems - A Review' (2014) with N. B. Bhawarkar; 'Iterative Genetic Algorithm for Task Scheduling in Non-Flexible Manufacturing Process'; 'Image Texture Classification Using Statistical Methods'; 'Performance Evaluation of Iris Recognition System Using Fuzzy System'; 'Detection of Masses in Mammogram Images Using Ant Colony Optimization'; and a 2007 paper in the International Journal of Innovative Research in Electrical, Electronics with D. S. Kale and D. P. Tulaskar. Additional works cover signature verification using MATLAB, performance comparison of multipliers, and content-based image retrieval systems using SIFT and SVM. In 2001, he presented on Telemonitoring - A Model of Telemedicine.
