Dr. D. Saravanan, born on 19 May 1979, serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Tagore College of Pharmacy, Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road, Rathinamangalam, Chennai-600127. He obtained his B.Pharm from Pallavan Pharmacy College, University, Guindy in 2000; M.Pharm from Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu in 2008; and Ph.D. from VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu in 2017. Additionally, he holds MBA and PGDMM qualifications. Dr. Saravanan brings 14.11 years of teaching experience and 0.8 years of industrial experience to his role, and he has guided one Ph.D. scholar.

Dr. Saravanan's research specializations encompass phytochemistry and medicinal chemistry.
