David Adams is a Full Time Business Faculty member in the Business & Comp Studies department within the Social & Behavioral Sciences Division at Antelope Valley College, contributing to the Business & Economics faculty. He serves as Department Chair for multiple programs, including Accounting (ACCT), Business (BUS), Business Information Professional (BIP), Computer Applications (CA), Management (MGT), Marketing (MKTG), and Real Estate (RE). His office is in CH 248 with phone extension (661) 722-6300 ext. 6901. David Adams is actively involved in college governance and faculty representation. He holds the position of Senate Vice President of the Academic Senate for the term from August 18, 2025, through the day prior to the start of the Fall 2026 semester. As Grievance Officer for the Antelope Valley College Federation of Teachers (AVCFT), he supports faculty through grievance processes, with union contact at grievance@avcft.org. In 2020, records indicate he was Assistant Professor of Business, Vice President, and Lead Negotiator for the AVCFT. David Adams has participated in program review committees for Career Technical Education (CTE) in Business & Computer Studies, specifically Accounting programs during 2018-19 and 2019-20. Additionally, he advises the Alpha Gamma Sigma–Alpha Iota Chapter honor society as Professor in Business Computer Studies and Economic Development. These roles highlight his dedication to education, administration, and community within Antelope Valley College's Business & Economics areas.
