David Lobo is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business at Bowling Green State University. He joined the university in January 2024, where he teaches the introduction to business course. In addition to his teaching duties, Lobo serves as the liaison between the Schmidthorst College of Business and the Radbill Center for Life Design. Through this role, he contributes to refining the integration of Life Design principles into the business curriculum, fostering innovative approaches to student career development.
Before entering academia, Lobo built a robust career in international business, working in banking, insurance, and business development. His professional experience includes positions at ICONTEC Internacional, PROMERICA Bank Honduras, and HSBC Insurance Honduras. Lobo applies this practical expertise in the classroom to illustrate real-world applications, helping students identify and explore diverse career opportunities across various business disciplines. Committed to experiential learning, he actively brings industry experts into his classes and guides students through career prototyping journeys, preparing them for successful professional transitions.
