David Porritt serves as a lecturer to medical students at Curtin University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) with Honours from Curtin University, an MBBS from the University of Notre Dame graduated in 2014, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Following his move from Melbourne, Porritt has worked in various hospitals across Perth and the South West of Western Australia. He previously acted as a medical educator for the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia. Currently, he practices as a General Practitioner at The Garden Family Medical Clinic in Murdoch, Western Australia. His areas of interest within general practice include men's health, paediatrics, minor surgical procedures, sports medicine, aged care, dermatology, and aviation medicine. Porritt exhibits a strong commitment to teaching alongside his clinical responsibilities.
