Diana Wilson, MD, FAASM, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. She serves as Division Chief of Sleep Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where she leads the Sleep Program. Board certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Wilson has over 25 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. She performs sleep studies and provides comprehensive care for patients with sleep-related conditions at the University of Vermont Medical Center and is affiliated with Porter Medical Center. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, she maintains active involvement in advancing sleep medicine practices.
Dr. Wilson received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1997. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at MaineHealth from 1997 to 2000, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at MaineHealth from 2000 to 2003. In her academic role, she contributes to medical education through presentations such as her lecture on Obstructive Sleep Apnea delivered at the 51st Annual Family Medicine Course organized by the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine Continuing Medical Education program in 2025. Dr. Wilson also plays a key role in faculty recruitment for the Sleep Program, serving as the primary contact for inquiries regarding positions like Pediatric Sleep Specialist on the Clinical Scholar Pathway. Her practice is located at 1 South Prospect Street, Arnold Level 2, in Burlington, Vermont.
