Diane Inder is the Senior Administrator in the Sciences Pro-Vice-Chancellor's Office at the University of Otago in Dunedin. She supports the operational needs of the office, which plays a key role in advancing research excellence, industry partnerships, and innovation within the Division of Sciences. Her contributions help facilitate the strategic leadership provided by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Charles Brennan and the broader administrative team, including finance managers and service administrators dedicated to teaching, research, planning, and resource management.
Prior to her current position, Diane Inder spent 28 years in the Department of Psychology at the University of Otago, serving as the 100-level coordinator until May 2019. During this time, she earned an Appreciation Award from Disability Information and Support for providing exceptional support and guidance to staff and students. Following her tenure in Psychology, she transitioned to an administrative role in the nearby Department of Computer Science before taking up her present responsibilities in the Sciences Division.
