Donna Jones serves as the Association Secretary and Corporate Support Manager for the Otago University Students' Association (OUSA), an organization closely affiliated with the University of Otago. With more than 33 years of service working alongside University of Otago students, she has forged lasting bonds, attending countless twenty-first birthdays and weddings of former students. Donna has provided essential support to numerous students during challenging times, helping them navigate personal and academic difficulties. Her dedication was highlighted in a University of Otago news feature, where she expressed her passion for the role, calling it the best job in the world due to her interactions with emerging leaders.
Donna earned a business degree part-time from Otago Polytechnic, complementing her hands-on professional style over a traditional academic trajectory. She is actively involved with student radio station Radio One 91FM, contributing to its operations and celebrating student achievements, such as tributes for beloved hosts. Listed in the University of Otago staff directory under external organizations in Dunedin, her office is at 640 Cumberland Street, North Dunedin.
