About Erandi

Dr. Erandi Hene Kankanamge is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of New South Wales Canberra (UNSW Canberra), within the School of Systems and Computing. Since 2024, she has served as Deputy Head of School (Education), leading educational strategies and program development in computing and systems fields. She completed her BSc (Honours) in Computer Science at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, with first class honours in 2008, followed by a PhD in Computer Science from UNSW in 2014.

Erandi's research specializations include multi-agent systems, human-swarm interaction, computational intelligence, human-computer interfaces, and AI for games and simulation. Her prolific publication record features prominent works such as 'A Holistic Review of Fuzzing for Vulnerability Assessment in Industrial Network Protocols' (IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, 2025, co-authored with A.R. Aldysty and N. Moustafa), 'Effective Motive Profile Compositions for Cooperative Ad-Hoc Teams' (IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, 2024, with A. Arukgoda, M. Barlow, and K.
