Dr. Erica Hagedorn serves as Senior Instructor I in Mathematics and Program Coordinator for Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, and Physics at Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, Oregon. Affiliated with Academic Programs and Student Affairs, she received her appointment at Oregon State University in 2019. With over fourteen years of college teaching experience, Hagedorn has contributed significantly to mathematics education at the Cascades campus, which has provided higher education to Central Oregon since 2001. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics earned in 2008, a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2010, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Massachusetts completed in 2020. These degrees underscore her expertise in both mathematics and mathematics education.
As Program Coordinator, Erica Hagedorn acts as the designated contact for the Cascades campus in key subject areas: Chemistry (CH), Mathematics (MTH), Physics (PH), and Statistics (ST), supporting course registrations and academic advising. She is listed as the contact for instructor pools in Math & Statistics and Physics for 2025/2026. Additionally, Hagedorn is a member of the Curricular Excellence Subcommittee within the Undergraduate Student Success Initiatives Steering Committee under the Office of the Provost.
