Rate My Professor Erina Mikus-Fletcher

Erina Mikus-Fletcher is a Lecturer and First Nations Student Lead at the Canberra Law School within the University of Canberra’s Faculty of Business, Government and Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism, both obtained from the University of Canberra, and was admitted as a solicitor in 2017. In her teaching role, she has experience delivering instruction in the Priestley areas of criminal law, corporate law, evidence law and property law.

Her research contributions include co-authorship on publications addressing sovereign citizenship, rights talk and rhetorics of authority, such as the 2023 article “Whose constitution: Sovereign citizenship, rights talk, and rhetoric” with Bruce Baer Arnold. She also serves as First Nations Student Lead and has participated in events and submissions related to Indigenous issues, social justice and intersectionality. Her professional interests encompass missing persons, Indigenous ontologies and related areas of law.
