Professor Evelin Tiralongo is a German-trained pharmacist holding dual registrations in Australia and Germany, complemented by postgraduate degrees in pharmacognosy. She serves as the founding Director of Griffith University’s Clinical Trial Unit within Griffith Health, where she has led efforts to strengthen academic-clinician collaborations, industry partnerships, and community engagement. With over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and clinical sciences, Tiralongo has progressed through key roles including Senior Lecturer at Griffith University since 2004, Research Assistant in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Melbourne from 1998 to 1999, and Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager at community pharmacies in Berlin, Germany, from 1996 to 1998.
