Felicia Lassk serves as Associate Professor and Group Chair of Marketing, as well as MBA Marketing Career Track Chair, in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. She holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of South Florida, an MBA in Marketing Research from Southern Illinois University, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Before entering academia, Lassk worked as an account executive and senior research analyst for a marketing research firm in Orlando, Florida. She has also provided consulting services for Blackwell Publishing in Medford, Massachusetts, and Cambridge, England, as well as for HCPro in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Lassk's research focuses on customer orientation, salesperson job involvement, emotional intelligence, and measurement issues. Her teaching interests encompass marketing research and professional selling. Notable publications include "Antecedents of Team Creativity: An Examination of Team Emotional Intelligence, Team Trust and Collaborative Culture" by Barczak, Lassk, and Mulki (2010, Creativity & Innovation Management); "Exploring Emotional Intelligence and Salesperson Creativity" by Lassk and Shepherd (2013, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management); "Linking Performance Outcomes to Salesperson Organizational Citizenship Behavior in an Industrial Sales Setting" by Marshall, Moncrief, Lassk, and Shepherd (2012, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management); "The Future of Sales Training: Challenges and Related Research Questions" by Lassk, Ingram, Krauss, and DiMascio (2012, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management); and "Finale – Just Desserts" by Sieloff and Lassk (2011, Case Research Journal). She has received the Tier 1 Grant from Northeastern University's Provost Office for 2012-2013 on healthcare collaboration, the Direct Selling Education Foundation Research Grant in 2006, and a Faculty Development Grant from the NU Provost's Office in 2006. Lassk serves on editorial review boards for Marketing Education Review, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and The Sales Review. She has held national officer positions in the American Marketing Association and the Society of Marketing Advances, and served as USA Marketing co-chair of the Education Committee for the Mobile Marketing Research Association. Her scholarship has been cited over 3,600 times on Google Scholar.
