His cancer research includes economic evaluations of colorectal and oesophageal cancer screening, patient preference studies for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancers, health utility elicitation for oesophageal, gastric, rectal, and breast cancers, and methods reducing uncertainty in funding using prostate cancer real-world data. Supported by NHMRC, MRFF, ARC, Cancer Australia, NDIA, and others, he has co-authored over 190 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Social Science & Medicine, Health Economics, PharmacoEconomics, Value in Health, Quality of Life Research, Medical Decision Making, British Journal of Cancer, British Journal of Psychiatry, and Pediatrics. Key publications include "Incorporating importance weights to measure the subjective wellbeing of people with disability" (2026), "Preferences for the use of artificial intelligence for breast cancer screening in Australia" (2025), and "Behavioral responses to healthcare funding decisions and their impact on value for money" (2025).
