Bogen's distinguished career includes maintaining a private endodontic practice in Los Angeles from 1998 to 2018 and serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the University of Southern California. He has lectured extensively for postgraduate programs at UCLA, Loma Linda University, Nova Southeastern University, and the VA Hospital in Long Beach.
